Our September Theme is:

This means it is time for me to practice one of the most challenging for me Rules of Relationships, namely Rule Number Four, see Journey of Adjustment book.

"Always look for the positive; focus on the positive.
Start giving yourself and those around you credit for what you and they are doing right. It is so easy to criticise, to break down, to point out failure. But how often do you praise either yourself or others for a job well done? We all need a pat on the head from time to time to keep believing in ourselves - even you."

To my inner sceptic I would say that this in no way implies closing my eyes on what is not on - it just means looking for the positive as well! :)

Exciting news update!

Our iconic course "The Journey of Adjustment" is - partially - on offer online! Facilitated by Irina Marsh.

The full course presentation, practical information, and registration details are available here.

Please enjoy Lady Elizabeth's most uplifting sharing!!

My dear friends,

Happy month! Happy September, already!

At the beginning of last month, with a theme of “shedding our self-image”, I was ready to SHRED my self image lol!

I shared: -

“I've come back to Varna this year and I'm avoiding going to yoga class because the teacher here knows me and has videoed my practice in her studio - when my body has been in “perfect” balance, so to speak.

This little social image inside me says she's going to judge me! Crazy 🙁 I know the first time that she sees me she will welcome me back – unconditionally.

Therein lies MY challenge and my gift 😊”

Needless to say, the “shredding” approach only took a couple of hours to change because it was more important for me to shift the focus to rather being grateful for my self image, for it is in this area where I am going to find and claim the most gifts of power.

I set out with a renewed approach to life of all round gratitude, believing that I would experience love wherever I go, and most of all to trust the process of life.

As a result this past month has been rich with many experiences where I did experience love in so many ways from different people, many of them complete strangers. Many instances have been physical support…in areas I've heretofore just completely taken for granted.

But..and…I was still avoiding going back to the yoga studio! Lol!

But then F, the owner of the studio, bumped into my friends last week and sent me a message which was very clear that I needed to get my body back into her studio!

So last week with much trepidation, I set off for my first yoga class in a few months, full of doubt as to what my body would be able to do. I get out the taxi and hear shouting. I turn around and there was F in the middle of the street making one almighty welcome racket! (Did I say she is Italian? 😊 ) She gave me such a warm welcome and encouragement to keep going.

At the end of the class she insisted on taking a photograph of the two of us as “inspiration” she said.

By shifting the focus and placing my attention on being grateful for what my body can do at this time, that I can experience love wherever I go and to trust the process of life, whether it be cash flow lol! or the journey with my new body, I have been experiencing great joy this past week.

Today my friend sent me a link to Facebook that F, my yoga teacher, had posted on Facebook, I share with you the post

“Elizabeth ❤️

Some people come into your life and, somehow, you feel connected to them beyond words.

Elizabeth has been practicing Bikram Yoga for more than 20 years. As she says herself, this practice completely changed her life and she continues to show up, to practice, to learn, and to inspire others through it.

Our connection is something very special to me. We don’t need many words. Somehow, we just understand each other.

In March, we were both in Bali at the same time, without even knowing it. We never saw each other, but somehow we could feel each other’s presence. That’s the kind of connection I mean. ✨

Every time I see Elizabeth, I feel deeply moved and incredibly grateful. She has an aura, a wisdom and a strength that are truly beautiful.

I feel so lucky that she is part of my life, and that we can share this extraordinary practice together. And now I get to enjoy having her with us at Bikram Yoga Varna for a whole month. ❤️

I know that, somehow, somewhere in the world, our paths will cross again.

And Elizabeth will keep inspiring people through this incredible practice just as she has inspired me. 🧘‍♀️ ❤️

So grateful for you, Elizabeth. 🙏”

Join me having fun with taking care where we place our attention this next month, my friends!

With all my love

Elizabeth
